King Solomon’s Table at Limmund FSU in Rye, New York

May 13, 2017 - May 14, 2017

Limmud FSU brings together and empowers Jewish young adults from Russian-speaking background in nearly a dozen locations around the world. Last year our conference in Parsippany welcomed 1200 young adults and families for a weekend of intellectually stimulating sessions, spiritual experiences, literary readings, and musical performances by top of the line educators, journalists, politicians, artists, entrepreneurs, and musicians.

Limmud is a volunteer-driven Jewish learning experience which started in Great Britain 30 years ago and since then spread to Jewish communities across the world. At Limmud, all participants are equal; all choose topics of interest to them and select the sessions they wish to attend. All lecturers and presenters are volunteers.

We are happy to have had the opportunity to develop and implement Limmud FSU conferences in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, and United States  for young Russian-speaking adults. Limmud FSU, founded by Chaim Chesler together with Sandra Cahn and Mikhail Chlenov, has grown organically across the Former Soviet Union. Matthew Bronfman joined soon after as chairman of the Steering Committee of Limmud FSU.
